Neymar was spotted in a McDonald’s and playing in a poker tournament hours after Paris Saint-Germain’s defeat to Bayern Munich.
Former PSG academy graduate Kingsley Coman inflicted the killer blow as Christophe Galtier’s side were beaten 1-0 in the Champions League last-16 first-leg.
The result leaves the French champions with an uphill battle in next month’s second leg in Munich.
Following the defeat, PSG forward Kylian Mbappe explained to reporters what his side needed to do to prepare for what will be a high-octane return clash.
“Everyone needs to be healthy, sleep well, eat well. We can do something there. If we are more offensive, they are uncomfortable. Let’s quickly move on and go again,” said the 24-year-old forward.
But it seems the message didn’t get through to teammate Neymar, who was seen playing late-night poker and in the fast food chain in the aftermath of Tuesday’s defeat.
The Brazilian appeared at the table of the European Poker Tour Paris held at the Hyatt Regency hotel.
It was initially thought by some that the PSG star had showed up as a sponsor for the event but it became evident that he had entered himself into the tournament at the cost of £9,000 per entry.

But it didn’t end there for the £200 million world-record signing. Neymar was seen inside a McDonald’s – a move that will no doubt annoy Mbappe, who reportedly called for the Brazilian to be sold last summer.
Even before news of Neymar’s latest exploits broke, reports in Paris claimed that sporting director Luis Campos has been tasked with offloading Neymar at the end of the season.
His reported £600,00-a-week wages for a player deemed past his best have put a stranglehold on the club’s attempts to strengthen other areas of the squad.
Alongside the huge contracts offered to Mbappe and Lionel Messi, PSG believe selling Neymar would be a productive move to regenerating their unbalanced squad.
According to Le Parisien, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi this week to discuss a £60m move for the 31-year-old.
Boehly appears intent on landing a blockbuster signing after attempting to lure Cristiano Ronaldo to the club last year.
Neymar has netted 117 times in 172 appearances for the Ligue 1 leaders since arriving at the club in 2017.
