While Tottenham were being given the run-around by Arsenal, Joe Rodon was pocketing Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The Welsh defender, who is spending the season on loan at French side Rennes, helped them to a famous 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.
The centre-back made his first start for the Ligue 1 side since the World Cup, which saw Wales exit at the group stage.
Rennes managed to secured all three points through Hamari Traore’s goal on 65 minutes, but Rodon was key to the victory, blocking two shots, making five clearances, and one interception.
Rodon’s performance was so impressive that he made it onto the front cover of Monday’s copy of L’Equipe.
The French sports newspaper also showed Messi and Neymar both looking downhearted following the surprise defeat.
Rodon’s stellar performance came on the same day as his parent club Tottenham were comfortably beaten by Arsenal.
Antonio Conte’s side showed plenty of defensive frailties during the 2-0 defeat, with Arsenal particularly outclassing them in the first half at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs’ lack of quality in defence may raise questions about why Rodon was sent out on-loan in the first place.
Rodon joined Spurs from Swansea City in 2020, on a five-year deal for an initial £11million plus add-ons.
Having made just ten appearances for the club, he left for Rennes on loan.
Included in the deal is an option-to-buy clause, meaning they can opt to make the move permanent for a fee of around £17m at the end of the season.
